I was electrocuted while repairing my HVAC equipment

I have to come clean and say that I was silly to think I could fix my own cooling system.

I thought by researching some Heating & Air Conditioning repair instructions that I would be able to do okay.

I felt like I was great at following instructions, so fixing my own Heating & Air Conditioning appliance would be fine. Well, I realized the challenging way that this was not the case. However, one crucial thing that almost seriously hurt me was the fact that I forgot to shut off the power to our Heating & Air Conditioning component before I started working on it. I ended up experiencing an electric shock that knocked me back a few feet. I was stunned afterwards & after that I realized that it was in my best interest to make an appointment with a Heating & Air Conditioning professional. Even if I did power off our Heating & Air Conditioning system after that, the electric shock was enough of a sign from God that I wasn’t meant to work on that cooling system. If I could not deal with something as easy as shutting off the power for my own safety, then I couldn’t imagine what was in store for me if I kept going with the Heating & Air Conditioning component repairs. When I eventually did have a Heating & Air Conditioning specialist examine my HVAC equipment, I was too embarrassed to tell him that I tried working on it myself & was electrocuted. I could’ve been hurt so much worse & I’m lucky that the wiring in our home is not fried. Thankfully, everything seems to be working well & I have not had any drastic health troubles after the electrocution with the Heating & Air Conditioning component.
