Hard to stay on task when it’s nice out; scenic route

For my entire life I have been an extremely productive human being.

Growing up in my household, there was no other choice. My parents were adamant in demanding that we all hold our weight around the household. Additionally, it was not an option to slack off in school. By the time I was a teenager, I had no choice but to rapidly find employment unless I wanted to be grounded every day. As such, I am definitely not the sort of human being who tries to skip out on work. That being said, there are times that I find this a real challenge. Particularly, when I know the outdoor air temperature is finally warming up after an extremely long and frigid winter season. If you live in an area of the country like I do, you understand that the first two days of spring are the most exciting time of the year. All you want to do is run outside, bask in the sunshine, and start planning fun outdoor gatherings with your friends now that it is possible to be comfortable without a central heating, cooling, and air quality control system. Those first opportunities to comfortably open your windows for fresh air and ventilation are really something. And they really make it difficult to care about your work. Luckily, as a heating, cooling, and air quality control technician… I have the ability to soak up some of the delightful outdoor air in between my indoor air temperature control appointments. When I am traveling from one HVAC repair appointment to the next, I just make sure that I take my sweet time. I enjoy the scenic route with the windows down and fresh air streaming into the truck. By the time I reach the next heating, cooling, and air quality control appointment I’m a little less bitter.
