I had to run the space heater all day
When it is cold and chilly outside, it’s always cold inside the house.
Running out of propane for the heater doesn’t make anything better.
I was pretty bummed out when I ran out of propane on Friday night. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to get any propane delivered until Monday morning. My wife told me that we should probably call to have propane delivered on Thursday, but I was trying to be stingy and wait. I hate to spend money when it is absolutely not necessary. When we ran out of fuel on Friday night, my wife got to say I told you so. Unfortunately, we had to spend the entire weekend without heat in the house. I had to run the space heater all day in my office because I had to work on Saturday and sunday. I expected to sit in the office warm and toasty, but I was freezing cold. Even with the space heater running all day, I still had to bundle up in socks and a long pair of underwear. It was absolutely miserable. I wanted to wear a pair of gloves on my hands, but it is impossible to type when I don’t have full control of my fingers. As soon as Monday morning rolled around, I immediately got on the phone with the propane provider. They came out to the house that afternoon and filled our tanks. They also told us that we probably wouldn’t have to fill them again before the end of the year. At least we got a little bit of good news.
