I don’t do well without heating and AC
During the last few years I have built up a reputation of being a bit of a diva.
- I’m not exactly sure as to the reason why this has been happening to be honest, but I think a good portion of it has to do with the fact that whenever i go home to visit my parents I choose to rent a hotel room instead of living with them during my visit.
My parents are my two favorite people in the world, but they live out in the middle of nowhere in an old farmhouse. The house is so old that there isn’t even a proper heating system installed, and the only thing that they have as a heating source is an old fireplace. The fireplace does a pretty decent job of keeping the house warm during the winter, but it doesn’t take long for the dry and polluted air floating around to start messing with my allergies. Despite how hard it feels to breathe inside for me my parents and even my two brothers don’t seem to have a problem. I don’t know, I guess that over my time working in the city surrounded by “fancy city folks’ ‘ as my parents refer to them I have lost the grit I used to have while living out here. In all honesty though I don’t have a problem with that. My parents and my siblings can keep all of the grit that they want, I will stick to living in the bright city with 24/7 access to proper heating and air conditioning.
