The movie was an eye-opener
I couldn’t sleep the other night and I ended up watching a movie on STarz.. It was back in the time of knighthood when people settled their arguments with swords plus axes. The men were in a battle and there was snow that was falling heavily. After watching these men in the snow, I began to feel cold for them. I was glad that I have a smart thermostat because I was able to adjust the temperature with the smart app on our cell phone. I adjusted the temperature from 69 to 73 because I was freezing. Usually when I am using the humidifier, I feel good when the temperature control is at 69 degrees. For some reason the humidifier wasn’t working like it should be. I realized that the water tank for the humidifier was empty and I had to fill it up. The humidifier had to have water for output in order for the temperature to feel good again. I’m sure it was a combination of no humidification and getting into the movie with the people fighting in such freezing weather. I can’t imagine what it must have been like back in those times. I thought about my brother who is in the military overseas. I became thankful for all of the veterans who have served in the military and fought for our freedoms. I appreciate the conveniences of present technology, and most especially Heating and air conditioning. I plan to update our heating system to radiant heated flooring, when I have enough money to do it. I’m sure that is going to take awhile.
