Loud A/C Unit in Living Room
Every Sunday, there is football on the TV at my house pretty much all day.
The other day, I noticed my boyfriend listening to football much louder than usual.
I could hear the TV from the driveway! I thought that maybe it was a good game and he was just excited. I did not see any other cars in the driveway so I did not think that there were a lot of people in the house. I wondered if maybe there was a window open that I was not aware of. When I sat down on the couch, I noticed that the AC unit was very loud and that he was unable to hear the TV over the loud noise! I was not sure if it was normal, so I decided to contact the landlord about it. She send an HVAC technician out take a look at it the following day. When he arrived, he took a few minutes inspecting the AC unit. He told us that this was one of the hottest weeks of the year and that the AC unit was having to work harder to cool the house, which was causing the loud noise. We were happy that that’s all that was going on. The following weeks brought cooler weather and we used the AC less and less. We are excited for the winter months to come so we can turn the AC unit off and open the windows on Sundays and enjoy the rest of football season.
