My wife and I thought it would be easy to change the bathroom sink faucet.

We were very unhappy with the old and outdated picture that was already there and we found a nice Chrome Plumbing fixture that we were going to use to update the bathroom.

My wife and I did not realize that we had to turn off the water and we started having leaks right away. After we got all of the water shut off, we started jiggling the handle back and forth so we could remove it. One of the screws broke loose and water started spraying all over the place. I didn’t want to deal with the problem any longer, so I insisted that we contact a plumber. I wanted to get a plumber there as quickly as possible. I was concerned that we were going to do more damage and cause a flood in our bathroom and I did not think that the insurance company would pay for all of those damages when we chose not to contact a plumbing contractor to do their job correctly. My wife agreed to contact an emergency plumbing service. We didn’t have to pay anything extra for the Saturday visit and the plumbing contractor easily updated the fixture in less than an hour. While I had the plumbing contractor there already for one service, I decided to see if he could fix the problem with the garbage disposal. The garbage disposal issues were not repairable but the guy gave me a great deal on a brand new garbage disposal that he already had in the back of his service truck.
