We had to place a video surveillance system outside in the parking lot

Last weekend I was working at the car dealership and there were some security problems.

  • Everyone thought that the security issues were related to the software, but I thought that the glitch was very weird after such a long time with no problems at all.

I monitor the parking lot very vigilantly after the security problems occurred. The same issues happened again and this time it was the gate. The gate is on an automatic timer. The automatic timer closes the gate at precisely midnight and does not open it again until 8:00 in the morning. The gate opened up at 2:00 a.m. and did not close again until 4:00 a.m. The next day we had to place a video surveillance system outside of the parking lot. I kept telling the car dealership manager that we were going to have a serious problem. I honestly felt like someone was testing a bunch of different theft controls until everything was perfect. I felt like we were going to get hit at once by a gang of burglars that were looking to take more than one car. I didn’t think that my boss would need my warning, so I was surprised when he installed the video surveillance system. It’s only a matter of time before everything goes down. There is something that I feel deep down inside and I can’t shake it. I know that the car dealership is going to be robbed, so I’m glad that the video surveillance equipment captures live motion and video. If it happens on my watch, I’ll be ready.
