My office without air conditioning
The people who owned the building eventually did call out a commercial central heating and air conditioning company.
Last week, there was an issue in the office that caused the HVAC to not work at all! It was very hot that entire week. The temperature usually reached into the 90s every day, and on one day, it was in the triple digits outside! You would think that with such wealthy office building owners, they would be able to fix the HVAC system in a timely fashion. There are hundreds of businesses represented in this office building that all pay rent. Despite this, it seems like every corner of this office building was devoid of all air conditioning and ventilation! Even the lobby did not have any A/C running at all! Still, it seemed that whoever held the purse strings for the maintenance of this building was being very cheap indeed! After a couple days of this, I had a really hard time convincing myself to get up and go to work knowing the intense heat that I would be facing all day long. Somehow or another, I still dragged myself to work. At one point, I almost literally cried because of the heat. The people who owned the building eventually did call out a commercial central heating and air conditioning company. It turns out that they were actively working on the problem throughout that sweltering week. The issue was that special parts needed to be ordered, but the shipping was taking a very long time. In the meantime, all the employees were suffering. All I know is that they better have this sorted out by the time I return on Monday!
