My Wintertide prep extends to the a/c

The fact that the people I was with and I live in a region that is dominated by a long, freezing Wintertide makes preparation a key ingredient when managing that winter.

Our winters last a minimum of numerous months and those are months filled with snow and ice.

The rapidly changing temperatures pretty much stay below freezing and end up dropping to near and below zero at times. That means the people I was with and I actually have to count on our heating methods. Our house has a gas furnace as the primary heating source. Both of us also have a wood stove that serves as both a minuteary heat source and the emergency heating method. There are times where an Heating, Ventilation & A/C contractor might have a actually hard time getting to us if there was a gas furnace breakdown. Having the wood stove allows us to always have heating whether it’s a power outage or a gas furnace problem. But all of this comes with plenty of preparation. Of course, I leave the heating repair on the gas furnace to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals. But I also spend plenty of time getting all the wood cut, split and stacked. It takes a bunch of firewood to get through the Wintertide around here. There are also plenty of chores for the house. You want to be sure your house is really, actually slim to keep all that Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating on the inside. My last bit of Wintertide prep has to do with Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling of all things. I cover the Heating, Ventilation & A/C cottageet outside the house with a hard plastic shell. This keeps the weight of the snow and ice off of delicate Heating, Ventilation & A/C parts.
