What is an air suspension install?
When I was a kid, it was all the rage to have air suspension installed so you could make the car go up and down.
I never thought that would come back into style, but it has. All over the city, I was beginning to see teenagers with the front end or back end higher than the rest of the car. One kid had his entire chassis jacked up so high that I could see the metal holding the tires together. I just shook my head and walked away. Air suspension wasn’t anything new, but it no longer looked cool to me. I guess you either gained some taste or lost the taste for things that are odd. It didn’t matter which way it went, I just knew that it looked stupid to me now, and I knew how my father felt when I came home with the air suspension installs. I remember how hyped I was the day I came home from school with the air suspension installed. I was in technical school taking classes for auto customization. One of the classes taught us how to do air suspension installs which included how to add air suspension. Dad was all over me when he saw the car. I was waiting for him to tell me to get rid of it and say the car looked horrible. He walked around the car and just frowned. He even got under the car to look at the air suspension installs. He told me I did a great job, but I could get rid of them now.
