Somebody put the air vents right by the doors
There’s something really weird about the way that my house is laid out.
- It’s not something that you would notice right away, and I really didn’t notice it right away when we first looked at the house.
Of course, our realtor did not point it out either since she was looking to sell a house. It’s certainly not something that would be a good selling point for people. What I’m talking about is the weird way that the heating and air conditioning vents are placed in the house. It’s really the weirdest thing that I have ever seen. I have never seen heating or air conditioning vents placed the way that these are. I can only imagine that they have done remodeling since the vents were placed in the house, and maybe they moved some walls or something. That’s really the only thing that would make any sense to me. The air vents are placed right by the doors in each room. That means that the heating or air conditioning blows literally out of the room whenever it’s turned on. I think that it’s so weird that whenever I have the heating system on in the winter, it actually heats up the hallway instead of my bedroom. It’s definitely not helping with the cost of heating and cooling the house. I just don’t get it, and unless they did move a lot of walls around for some reason a long time ago, it is just a ridiculous way to place HVAC equipment in a house! I wish I had noticed it before we bought the place!
