I don’t know if I should let the HVAC contractor in while I’m gone
I have an appointment with an HVAC contractor tomorrow, and I just found out that I’m not going to be able to be home when he shows up.
The problem is that I really need to get the heating system fixed right away and I don’t want to have to wait to try and get another appointment when I’m going to be home.
I wish that I had someone who could come over and hang around while the HVAC technician is here, but everyone that I know is busy tomorrow like I am! I was supposed to be off work tomorrow so I could handle all of this, but then I ended up having an emergency meeting come up. Now, there is nothing I can do about it except cancel and reschedule my HVAC appointment or Just let him in when I’m not home. I don’t feel comfortable about doing that because I don’t know this guy at all. My old HVAC technician would have been a different story because I have known him for a long time. I would have felt completely comfortable letting him in with the code and letting him work on my heating system while I was at work. But this new guy, I don’t know him at all. It’s the same exact HVAC company, but my old HVAC technician moved away from here so he is not an option anymore. This is really unfortunate for me, since I was so comfortable with him. I just can’t decide what I should do. Maybe I will just turn the nanny cam on and see what happens.
