I am Strong and My Body is Resilient and Healthy

I am in day one of recovery for my shoulder dislocation last night from doing some HVAC replacements. This is the sixth time it has happened over the past three years and I have become pretty proficient at putting it back in place. I always thought you had to put it in like they did in the movies where they smash it against a wall, but that is a movie. I actually had to grab my arm with my other hand over my head and use my head as leverage to pull the hurt arm up till my shoulder popped into place. The air conditioner was also the first culprit which caused it to dislocate, as I was holding it up to put into my window when my shoulder popped out. Luckily, my friend was there and he knew how to put it back in place for me. He has worked in the HVAC industry for a while but was a paramedic before that and had to locate a few body parts over the years for injured people. So today I am just taking it easy and icing it some, along with some over the counter pain meds and some Biofreeze gel. I think I will be back to working for my HVAC company in about a week, but I don’t want to rush it so if it takes longer that is just fine. I think the last time I did this it took me about three weeks to heal where I could work again without pain. I can’t blame the AC unit though, it was my own stupidity.
