The fireplace was roaring when we arrived
My girlfriend and I went to a ski resort last weekend to celebrate our one-year anniversary.
- We met at a ski resort last year and it sounded like a great idea to go back to the same place to celebrate our one-year anniversary.
I decided to rent a chalet instead of a room at the lodge. I knew it would be much more romantic and cozy and being with the other people. Our room at the lodge was comfortable and cozy. There was a stone fireplace in the corner of the room. The fireplace was already running when we arrived. There was a stack of wood next to the fireplace and a telephone number to call if we ran out of wood. They even delivered wood all day and all night for the convenience of the guests. The fireplace was roaring when we arrived and we continued to have a healthy fire the whole time that we were there. Neither one of us wanted to leave at the end of our three-day stay. It was the perfect way for the two of us to celebrate our anniversary. We took a bunch of pictures while we were there and we saw a couple of rare winter animals that should have already been hibernating. We skied down one of the hardest passes. We had a lot of Adventures and the two of us enjoyed our time together. It’s going to be really difficult to top that particular vacation, especially with the fireplace and all of the fun that we had while we were there.
