A long ride needs comfort

Back when I was 10 years old my family used to go down the shore in the summer.

We lived over a few hours from there, so we would have a pretty long car ride down.

My brother and I would always get uncomfortable sometimes if the air conditioning wasn’t right in the car. The air vents of the car my parents had were originally kind of weak. And getting the air conditioning to reach the back seat where we were sitting was kinda hard. When we complained about it, my father ended up taking the car to an auto mechanic to get the central air conditioning replaced and the air vents in the car touched up. The central air conditioning from that point on worked pretty well. Considering it was a pretty small car, it was really a shock that the air conditioning had issues reaching us in the back seat in the first place! But for the rest of my childhood, our long rides down the shore was pure bliss thanks to the great central air conditioning that we had following the replacing of the old one. Today as an adult with a family myself, I take my spouse and kids down the shore like we used to. And I always made it a point to be sure the central air conditioning in the car was working perfect. I always had a tune up of the entire car, which included the central heating and air conditioning system before we would even begin the 2 plus hour journey to the shore.
