Being a baby
One reason why big ships are so popular is that after you leave the state, until your feet touch land, you are being waited on hand and foot.
The only effort you need to make is to walk through the food line and decide which of the several sugary snacks you want. Your powder room is washed, your number 1 pop is brought to your beach chair and if you want to be eating at 3:00 a.m. there will be someone to deal with you. The only better time of life is when you were an infant when Dad and Mom catered to your every whim. I recognize the only setback to being a baby is that you could not get out of your crib to change the temperature control setting for your parent’s heating and cooling system. Infants seem to love it a bit warmer than grown-ups. They are less able to regulate their body temperature, so while they basked in the comfort of an 82 degree room you shivered away and whined until someone threw a sheet over you. If it got too hot and moist, the heat issues were not too far behind and the only way to draw anyone’s mind to it was to yell at the top of your baby lungs. Expectant mothers and fathers must be certain that their Heating, Ventilation plus air conditioning method is up to the challenges that a new-born will bring! None of us remember being a child but it is nice to recognize about being pampered and being accommodated.
