The first thing that you should easily do is check to make sure that the batteries in your temperature control unit are now working the right way. A lot of times, I understand that people forget all about the batteries in their temperature control units or even the fact that control units actually use batteries! This can easily cause an issue with your a/c machine inside the Summer weeks if your temperature control unit isn’t working the way it is supposed to. Next, I would recommend checking your windows plus doors to make sure that they all seal properly plus that they don’t have any gaps or cracks in them. So many times, the cooling air from your a/c machine can escape right through the cracks in your doors plus windows. As my dad used to say sporadically, all of us sure don’t want to air condition the entire village! I personally learned this past year that my storm door would not latch properly. Who knows how much extra a/c I wasted by letting it get out of the residence and into the heat outside! I bet my a/c machine bills could have been split in half if I had found out sooner! Once you check your control unit plus your windows plus doors, be sure that you clear away all of the grass, leaves, plus debris from your outside a/c machine. If it’s surrounded by long grass or vines, they could easily get sucked into the compressor plus cause all sorts of problems with your a/c machine.
