My mother thought I was ignoring her
The group of us have a super loud air conditioning device in our house! When the air conditioning device is running, you can’t really hear much of anything.
This is especially true if you happen to be sitting near an air vent or the air return.
Well, just the other week, this turned into a sizable problem for us. My mother needed myself and others to come and get something for her, even though I couldn’t even hear her because of how noisy the air conditioning device was. She got so mad at me, even though I told her the reason that I couldn’t hear her was because of the air conditioning system. She said that I was ignoring her on purpose, which wasn’t the case at all – at least that time, anyway. She said that I was just making excuses and that there was no way that the air conditioning device could be that loud. I guess she had never been in my room before when the air conditioning device kicked on. I decided to do an experiment and I had her come to my room and sit on my bed. Then I went to the temperature control and turned on the air conditioning device. My mother nearly jumped off the bed when the air conditioning device kicked on and the roar came flying out of the air vents. She finally heard how noisy it sounded and she came to realize that she had been mad at me for nothing. Then the next afternoon she called up the Heating and Air Conditioning device business to have them come out and do air conditioning system maintenance for us. She said that there was really no reason that our central air conditioning device should be making so much noise. I entirely hope they can come and service it and make it quiet for us!
