There aren’t many people who could have imagined what carnage a pandemic would bring to our planet.

It’s hard for me to really put it all in perspective.

While I am not surprise something like Covid 19 happened given the SARS and MERS scares of years passed. But, unlike those situations, what we’re dealing with now is simply unprecedented for our times. I am making sure to stay in my HVAC maintained home unless out for exercise or getting supplies. And, I think that is going to be the way it is for some time, at least for me. There is still just too much unknown about this virus and what the after affects may be. So, the inside of my home and the HVAC comfort it provides will have to do for a while. But, while I am able to work from home, I also want to attempt to perceive this situation as an opportunity. For me, that means get a bit more healthy and improve my immune health. This idea of immune health is closely linked with the indoor air quality of my home. I was stunned to read some of the stats on how indoor air quality effects the immune system. Our economy loses, on average, 168 billion dollars in lost work hours due to poor indoor air quality and it effects on health. So, now that the HVAC folks are doing more than just emergency services, I am making an appointment. That HVAC appointment will be to have a whole house are purifier installed. This way, I know that I am doing the maximum to provide the best breathable air so that my immune system can thrive.
