Renting shouldn’t include terrible Heating, Ventilation, & A/C

Renting shouldn’t include terrible Heating, Ventilation, & A/C

There are for sure some real upsides to renting a single’s home.

Just a call to the rental office leads to resolution of complications that a homeowner would have to see to & pay for themselves.

Plus, there is no mowing the yard & the pool is cleaned without my help. But, disadvantages exist as well went renting. I have lived in the same arena now for over 5 years & I have never seen any sort of preventive repair. That seems unusual for an investment like a dwelling. The largest area that exposes this failure is the terrible condition of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C. It would seem to myself and others to be in pretty much everyone’s best interest to have the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C took care of at least once per year. I have had complications with the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C since I moved in. But, each time I call the rental office, they send the same guy who has seriously limited knowledge about Heating, Ventilation, & A/C. His Heating, Ventilation, & A/C “repair” is nothing more than an exercise in futility. Nothing gets genuinely took care of. So, the efficiency & capacity of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C diminishes all the time. I have always been very careful to keep the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C air filter changed each week. In fact, I even cleaned the condenser unit, coils & grills because they were so filthy. I have even gone to the lengths of using my shop vac to unaffix the gunk in the evaporator line. The emails that I write to the property employer are respectful & acceptable. But, they are ignored. It’s a shame because I undoubtedly like where I live.
