Putting a fence around the a/c

Putting a fence around the a/c

I spent a long part of last week improving the look of my flower gardens.

Aside from my normal wedding and hedging, I decided to cut back a few of the bushes in front of the house.

They had gotten out of control from years of neglect. My acquaintance complimented the new garden which set me on a path of more gardens around the house. In place of the worn footpath that sits between our front porch and our paved driveway, I decided to set up sizable pots filled with bulbs. This way it would look like a pretty nice house and cute footpath leading between the loft and the driveway where I park our truck. However, most important of all, I had constantly been unhappy with how ugly our air conditioner condenser looks as it sits along the side of our house. One of our pals has bushes planted around his condenser, but I was worried that thick plants like that could possibly hurt the air flow of the sizable fan inside. Instead, I came up with the plan of setting up a small custom wooden fence going around the device, about 4 feet away on each side of it. In place of traditional fencing, I opted to buy wood lattice board that allows for almost total unrestricted air flow for the bigger machine. To make it look even prettier, I dug out an older can of white paint that I used on the outside of our house years back. In the end, I had a very pretty lattice fence wrapping around our once ugly air conditioner condenser.
